DHFD offers an American Heart Association training class that includes First Aid, CPR, AED. These trainings are on the first Saturday of every month (except for holiday weekends). The times are 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. These classes are $10 each for district residents and $25 each for non-district residents. Participants must make payment at our Administration Center in order to register for these classes.

In accordance with state law, notices for all Drexel Heights Fire District (DHFD) public meetings, along with agendas, must be posted at least 24-hours in advance of the meeting. Public notices and agendas are posted at all five DHFD fire stations.

Please be advised that pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431 (A) (3) (a) a technological problem or failure that either prevents the posting of public notices on a website or that temporarily or permanently prevents the use of all or part of the website does not preclude the holding of the meeting for which the notice was posted, if DHFD complies with all other public notice requirements.

Pension Board Meetings

The Pension Board meets annually in December and at other times during the year as needed to review applications for retirement or DROP.  The meetings are open to the public and meeting times, location and agendas are posted at least 24 hours in advance.
