Senior Citizen Fire Academy
Our first academy of the year is already under way...but don't worry there's still room in February's academy!!! Learn more about your local Fire District and receive safety resources during this program which is designed especially for Seniors 55 and older. The program is FREE and we are taking registrations now! (flyer, registration form)

FREE Bicycle Helmets for Kids
Did you know that it's an Arizona Law that children wear bicycle helmets when riding their bikes? Stop by our Administration Center for a free bike helmet and fitting for toddlers thru age 17 years.

Booster Seats for Kids
We want to make sure everyone is safe from not only fires, but injuries too! Once a child outgrows a car seat at about age five and 40lbs, a booster seat can help position your child so the lap/shoulder seat belt fits them correctly. DHFD offers FREE booster seats to residents who qualify. Stop by our Admin Center with your child during normal business hours or give us a call for more details! Oh...and did you know that all children should ride buckled up in the back seat until age 12 years?

FREE Smoke Alarms & Fire Extinguishers!
DHFD offers a FREE smoke alarm, fire extinguisher and a home safety check to every household in the District. Call our Administration Center (520) 883-4341 for an appointment with our Volunteer team who will come out to install these life saving devices.

NEW CPR Training!
American Heart Association's "hands-only" CPR is available through our monthly public training sessions. Our trainings include First Aid, CPR and AED in one combined and convenient class. For registration information please contact our Administration Center at (520) 883-4341. 2012 schedule
