• Station 405
  The District is getting ready to build its fifth station in the Star Valley area. Station 405 will be located at 7200 S.  Wade Road. The ground breaking ceremony for the site took place on April 30, 2009 (see photo below). Construction should be completed in early 2010.

• Open Burning
  A Burning Permit Must be Obtained First
  The Drexel Heights Fire District, Pima County, and the residents of the District are all concerned about fire safety in our community related to open burning. The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) has developed a permit process for all Open Burning in Pima County. In an effort to make the applications more readily available, Drexel Heights Fire District has obtained copies to make available to the public. The District cannot issue permits but we are able to distribute application forms for the convenience of our residents. You can pick up an Open Burning Application at our Administrative Center, 5030 S. Camino Verde, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (except holidays).
