Welcome to the Operations portion of the Drexel Heights web page.  The men and women of the Drexel Heights Fire District are well trained progressive professionals that are committed to providing you, “our customers” with the best possible service in response to your call.  Whether you call us for a medical emergency, fire or just a snake sneaking in your yard, we will respond promptly and will do everything in our power to assist you in resolving your emergency.  We are dedicated to the community we serve and we are determined to help guide our community in achieve a safe lifestyle.  We are your Fire Department, tell us what you like about us or tell us what we can do to improve.  We take great pride in our service, department and community, We strive for excellence!
 

Operations Personnel

Drexel Heights Fire Districts daily emergency response staff includes 27 on-duty full-time employees during a 24-hour shift. The operations staff work out of four fire stations located throughout the 90 square mile community. Responding units in our fleet include:

• Battalion Chief
• 4 Engines
• 4 Adv. Life Support Ambulances
• 1 Heavy Rescue/Special Teams Squad
• 2 Brush Trucks
• 1 Water Tender
